Financial Aid is a critical component in meeting the cost of your education. LIU Brentwood offers comprehensive financial aid services, including scholarships, grants and loans, to help you meet your educational and career goals.

LIU Brentwood is committed to making a quality, private education affordable. We offer you detailed affordability information and personal advisement to help you make thoughtful decisions about financing options. Ninety-five percent of our students receive financial assistance to help meet college expenses. Each year, more than $7 million in scholarships and financial aid is awarded to our students.

  • Continuing students must file a renewal FAFSA by March 1 each year online at www.FAFSA.ed.gov
  • Extended Tuition Payment Plans are available through the Bursar’s Office

Financial Aid Basics

In order to be considered for financial aid, both new students and continuing students need to file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). For maximum consideration of aid, the FAFSA should be submitted for processing no later than March 1 of each year. Learn more.
