• Planned Gifts

• Gifts of Securities
A gift of appreciated securities that has been held more than one year offers two benefits to the donor: income tax deduction for their fair market value and avoidance of capital gains tax on appreciation in value.

• Systematic Gift Plan
Alumni now have the opportunity to make their contributions to the Long Island University Annual Fund through monthly or quarterly payments. The Systematic Gift Plan provides a convenient method for spreading payment of your annual gift over an entire year. Call (516) 299-3972 between 9:00am - 5:00pm to set up your gift plan.

• Matching Gifts
Your employer may have a matching gift program. When an employee makes a charitable contribution, the company will match the charitable donation and forward the check to the Long Island University directly.
