The application process for admission to Long Island University's Homeland Security Management Institute provides you with the opportunity to share information about yourself, including your college record, interest and goals. Your admissions application is reviewed by the admissions team to not only assess your academic achievement but to evaluate the curricular rigor of your academic history, your leadership potential, the depth of your participation in community service, extra-curricular activities and your overall interest in attending Long Island University.

There are two ways to apply for admission to the M.S. in Homeland Security Management or Advanced Certificate program: online application or paper application. The online application can be submitted electronically after all of the required questions have been answered. You do not need to complete the online application in one sitting. You may return to the application by using your email address and password you create. The paper application can be obtained by clicking on the link for the PDF form.
