LIU Senior Fellow Featured in Port Authority News

James Munday, a Senior Fellow with LIU’s Homeland Security Management Institute, was featured in the November 23, 2011 edition of PA News, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s staff newsletter. The profile details his efforts as the Port Authority’s Senior Manager for Emergency Readiness, in which he oversees the agency’s entire emergency response planning, drilling and communication systems. Mr. Munday is a West Point graduate and retired lieutenant-colonel with the U.S. Army, and he formerly served as Disneyland’s Manager of Emergency Preparedness and Communications. A Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), he is a graduate of LIU’s Homeland Security Management master’s degree program, where he now teaches master’s-level students in the Homeland Security Management Institute. Click here to view the article.
