Dr. Jadwiga S. Najib, professor of pharmacy practice, joined the faculty in 1989 and set up her psychiatric pharmacy practice at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center where she precepts fourth and sixth year pharmacy students. She also precepts pharmacy residents at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center as they undertake their rotations in psychiatry. Dr. Najib practiced at the St. Luke's site for seven years before moving to the Roosevelt site, where she currently is a clinical pharmacist with the departments of psychiatry and pharmacy. She has presented and published research papers dealing with various psychiatric disorders and their treatments. Additionally, she has authored and co-authored chapters on sleep disorders on issues dealing with drug liability and safety.
Mental Health including Major Depressive Disorders, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Sleep Disorders, ADHD, and Substance Use Disorders.
