Before moving on to Tier II, students must demonstrate proficiency in the following ways:

  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Pass the Liberal Arts and Science Test (LAST)
  • Demonstrate competency in writing

Portfolio Requirements

Initial portfolios should be submitted after 12-15 credits. A student must have a passing first portfolio submission in order to apply for student teaching.

Final portfolios should be submitted one semester prior to the final semester in the program. Portfolios need to be judged as satisfactory or better before the degree will be granted.
