Alumni Give Thumbs-Up to M.B.A. Program at Rockland Graduate Campus
Respondents agree degree helped their careers and would recommend it to friends

Orangeburg, N.Y. – Alumni of the Master of Business Administration program at the Rockland Graduate Campus of Long Island University unanimously reported in a recent survey that the degree helped them advance in their careers.
All respondents answered “yes” to the question, “Do you feel that your M.B.A. degree helped you in your career advancement?” All respondents also agreed that their professors were high-quality professionals, and all said they would recommend the Rockland Graduate Campus M.B.A. to a friend or co-worker. Ninety-five percent answered “yes” when asked whether they received a raise, promotion or new job as a result of having earned the M.B.A.
“This feedback confirms that our program offers immediate real-world value to our students,” said Dr. Nancy Low Hogan, associate provost of the Rockland Graduate Campus. “We pride ourselves on offering expert faculty, convenient class schedules and comprehensive student support, and it is gratifying to see that our efforts have been successful.”
Professor Kenneth Reilly, director of the M.B.A. program, said, “Our professors are accomplished business people with track records of success. Their experience is a tremendous asset to students in our program, and these survey results reflect that fact.”
Among comments by respondents were these: “The experience has made all the difference” and “Excellent, convenient and rewarding programs with reasonable, understanding professors.”
A little more than 10 percent of the 375 M.B.A. alumni responded to the survey.
The Rockland Graduate Campus M.B.A. is a 60-credit, fast-track program designed to be completed in just 28 months. Students proceed through the program as a cohort, fostering team-work and communications skills among students and familiarity between students and faculty.
The cost of all textbooks is covered in the tuition for the program, and tuition is guaranteed not to increase for the duration of the program. Tuition is discounted by $25 per credit compared to other Rockland Graduate Campus degree programs. Total savings to M.B.A. students is approximately $5,000.
