Through the presentation of actual cases, learn how school counselors can work as change-agents for students and families to address problems of student underachievement and lack of access to higher education.

Marissa Giujarro, M.S.Ed., is a professor with the School Counseling Program at LIU Hudson at Rockland. Professor Giujarro is a school counselor at Suffern High School. She is a former president of the Westchester Putnam Rockland Counseling Association and currently a state delegate to the annual assembly of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling.
