Tuesday, August 27th

Morning - Check-in with LIU Global Staff at the Aloft Hotel (Please note that we cannot guarantee check in at the hotel at this time)

Early Afternoon - Welcome Lunch

Afternoon - Orientation Programming (students and parents)

Early Evening - Dinner hosted by LIU Global Staff and Faculty

Wednesday, August 28th

Early Morning - Breakfast

Morning - Noon - Orientation Programming (students and parents)

Noon - Boxed lunches

1:30 p.m. - Bus departs for Newark Airport (students only)

Accommodations:

Accommodations at the hotel for students will be provided by LIU Global. Students will have at least one roommate.

A block of rooms will be reserved at a local hotel.  Please check this site for updates.

Group Flights:

Freshman

All first year students will depart on a group flight to San Jose, Costa Rica with the Center's Director, Sarah Moran. Please purchase the following direct flight as soon as possible:

United Airlines- Flight 1082
Departs from Newark Airport on Wednesday, August 28th, 2013 at 5:50pm
Arrives in San Jose, Costa Rica on Wednesday, August 28th, 2013 at 9:15pm

We found the above flight on expedia.com, orbitz.com, travelocity.com and kayak.com. Once you have purchased your flight, please email a copy of your itinerary to Susan.Rachouh@liu.edu. Transportation from the airport in San Jose to the Center in Heredia will be arranged by Global College. As noted above, Sarah Moran will be flying from Newark with your group and will ensure that all students are accounted for and reach Heredia.
