Student Financial Services/Registration
Class Registration & Student Financial Services Clearance
In order to be able to move onto campus and access your meal card, you must be registered for full-time classes (at least 12 credits for undergraduate students and 9 credits for graduate students) and have made satisfactory payment arrangements for any balances owed by August 1, 2012. You can make arrangements for bill clearance by contacting the Student Financial Services at 516-299-2323 or via email at post-sfs@liu.edu. For questions about registration please call Academic Advising at 516-299-2746 or ac@cwpost.liu.edu.
Move-In Dates
- New Student Move-In Day: Monday, September 3, 2012 between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
- Returning Student Move-In Day: Tuesday, September 4, 2012 between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Student Health Insurance Information
All resident and/or international students will automatically be billed for the University-sponsored health insurance plan on their bursar account. You have the opportunity to waive this charge by complying with the waiver procedures on the following link. Theft, Fire, & Accidental Damage Insurance
The University will not be liable for personal items, including motor vehicles, lost or damaged by fire, theft, vandalism, water, breakage or otherwise. The University urges students to purchase student property insurance (Information about property insurance is available in the Office of Residence Life). The University will not be liable for loss or damage to vehicles. Parking and use of vehicles on University premises is at the student’s own risk. For more information click here.
