Committees
Food Committee: The Food Committee is the voice for student concerns regarding food. They meet with the Director of Dining Services to discuss comments and suggestions of anything regarding food, whether positive or negative. The Food Committee holds weekly meetings that are open to all students to help get a better understanding of what the student body wants.
Campus Quality and Security Committee: The Campus Quality and Security Committee is the voice for the student body concerning issues or accolades regarding any form of campus quality or security. They meet with the Directors of both Facilities and Public Safety to ensure that the issues of the student body are known to administration. The Campus Quality and Security Committee also holds weekly meetings that are open to all students of LIU Post.
Diversity Committee: The Diversity Committee encourages diversity around campus, reaches out to the student body, and creates an event each semester relating to the diversity of LIU Post. The Diversity Committee also meets with the International Student Services office. The Diversity Committee holds weekly meetings that are open to all of the student body.
Academic Committee: The Academic Committee addresses the student issues regarding academia and work with the respective academic departments. The Committee meets with the Director of Academic Counseling. The Academic Committee holds weekly meetings open to all of the student body to get a better understanding of what the student body needs and wants are concerning academics.
