Nicole Castellano (Scholar of the Month) Receives an Academic Excellence AwardThe LIU Post Financial Assistance Office administers federal, state and institutional aid programs to qualified students to help them finance their college education. Funds are available through a variety of sources, including the United States Department of Education, the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC), and the LIU Post campus. Grants and scholarships do not require repayment. You can also choose from a variety of Departmental Scholarships depending on your major. Direct loans are available to all U.S. citizens regardless of need, however, they require repayment. In order to process any forms of financial aid, you must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). International students are required to file the College Scholarship Service (CSS)/Financial Aid Profile. For New York State aid, you must file a separate Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application.

We encourage you to explore all options for scholarships and financial aid. If you have any questions, our Financial Assistance counselors can help you navigate through the process.
