Financial Assistance & Scholarships

LIU Post is committed to making a quality, private education affordable. Eighty-five percent of our students receive financial assistance to help meet college expenses. LIU Post's experienced financial aid counselors will work closely with you and your family to make sure you receive the highest amount of aid possible. Financial aid is available in the form of scholarships, grants and loans. Each year, more than $110 million in scholarships and financial aid is awarded to our students.

  • Long Island University's Federal Student Code is 002751
  • Long Island University's TAP Codes are: 0403 (undergraduate) and 5403 (graduate)
  • Continuing students must file a renewal FAFSA by March 1 each year online at www.FAFSA.ed.gov
  • Extended Tuition Payment Plans are available through the Bursar's Office
