Senior Class Giving
Each year, the senior class comes together to support LIU and a future students by making a gift to the University. Your gift will help others pave the way for future Pioneers, helping them realize their potential and fulfill dreams at LIU, continuing the legacy of senior class giving.
Why should I give?
The Class of 2017 Gift is your first opportunity as a soon-to-be LIU graduate to participate in a long legacy of alumni support and to do your part to strengthen the value of a LIU degree. Alumni participation, at any level, has a powerful impact on the reputation of our school, and helps to improve our US News and World Report rankings.
Tradition: The Class Gift Cord
Members of the senior class who support The Class of 2017 Gift will be recognized for their generosity at Commencement! By making a gift of $20.17, you will receive a special honor cord to wear at Commencement and symbolize your gift to future Pioneers. You will help ensure that an incoming LIU student will be given the opportunity to enjoy the same rewarding and enriching education that you received.
