Suffolk County Community College and Long Island University (LIU) have entered into a partnership that will allow incoming Suffolk students to conveniently get on track toward earning a bachelor’s degree from Long Island University.
Students can choose from more than a dozen degree-granting programs. Suffolk students who are enrolled in these programs and maintain a qualifying grade point average (GPA), and who are accepted into Suffolk’s Honors Program and Phi Theta Kappa, will be eligible for transfer scholarships to LIU ranging up to $19,000 per year. LIU will also provide on-site academic counseling for Suffolk students during their first two years, as well as access to the LIU library system and other LIU campus-based facilities.
It's Time to Register for Classes
Once you have been admitted and you have received your credit evaluation, you can submit your tuition deposit and register for classes. We encourage all transfer students to work one-on-one with their Academic Advisor when creating their schedules. Please call Academic and Career Planning at 516-299-2746 or email email@example.com.
You can also register for classes by attending any of our Transfer events. Learn more at liu.edu/post/yes or call the Transfer Team at 516-299-2900.
