Admissions - For Transfer Students

LIU Post’s reputation for academic excellence makes it an ideal choice for transfer students.  Each year, nearly 800 students from two- and four-year colleges and universities choose to continue their education at LIU Post, taking advantage of our broad range of majors, small class sizes, transfer scholarships, and active campus life.

LIU Post offers  88 undergraduate and 72 graduate degree programs, awards renewable transfer scholarships ranging from $8,000 to $20,000 per year, and accepts up to 72 transfer credits from two-year schools and 96 credits from four-year schools.

IT’S TIME TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES

Once you have been admitted and you have received your credit evaluation, you can submit your tuition deposit and register for classes. We encourage all transfer students to work one-on-one with their Academic Advisor when creating their schedules. Please call Academic and Career Planning at 516-299-2746 or email post-ac@liu.edu.

Priority Registration for Transfer Students
Tuesday, August 13, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Enrollment Services Days are also open to new freshmen, transfer and graduate students:
Tuesday, July 16 from 3 to 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 20 from 3 to 7:30 p.m.
