Winter Session

Students Attending Winter SessionThe Winter Session offers you an opportunity to earn three credits in 10 days at one-third off tuition. You can get ahead in your degree requirements or learn something new! Select from more than 30 undergraduate and graduate courses offered in the morning, afternoon and evening.

The Winter Session is held over a 10-day period (from the end of December through mid-January) and is considered a full semester. Courses are open to both current LIU Post students, new students and visiting students from other colleges and universities. Most courses award three credits. Classes are available during the morning, afternoon and evening from: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 1:15 to 5:15 p.m.; and 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and run Monday through Friday. The Winter Session also offers three-credit travel courses at 40% off the regular tuition rate.

LIU Post students interested in Winter Session will only need to complete the Personal Enrichment Application & Registration Form.

Winter Session 2012 - 2013 Dates

Classes Begin  - December 26
Add/Drop and Late Registration - December 26
New Year's Holiday – No Classes - December 31 – January 1
Classes End - January 10, 2013

Visiting Student Home Institution Approval Form

Visiting Students (students currently enrolled at another college or university) who are interested in Winter Session need to complete both the Winter Session Personal Enrichment Application & Registration Form and the Visiting Student Home Institution Approval Form.
