Weekend College is an innovative and engaging program for students who wish to accelerate and enrich their studies or who prefer the convenience and flexibility of a weekend schedule.
Designed for full- and part-time students, busy adults and working professionals, Weekend College classes are the equivalent in content and credits to the courses offered during the regular academic year.
Graduate courses are offered. Most course offerings are 3 credits and give students the opportunity to fulfill major or elective requirements.
Weekend College provides concentrated study in the following formats:
- Six Saturdays
- Three intensive weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Eight consecutive Saturdays
- Eight consecutive Sundays
The abbreviated formats work well for students who are independent learners and motivated self-starters. Classes generally run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A desire to learn and the ability to manage time are necessary characteristics of Weekend College students.
