C.W. Post offers you a one-of-a-kind learning environment. You will never be taught by graduate assistants, only credentialed faculty. Our student-to-faculty ratio is among the lowest in the United States: 12-to-1, giving you access to small classes and personalized guidance and support from your professors. C.W. Post’s academic catalog spans more than 1,500 courses each year and 260 majors and minors. No matter your course of study, you will experience hands-on learning that will transition your education into real-world accomplishments.

C.W. Post is home to the office of International Student Services (ISS), which is dedicated to serving the needs of global citizens who are studying at our campus. ISS assists international students in maintaining their legal F-1 non-immigrant status in the United States and also provides academic advising and support. In addition, the ISS sponsors exciting social, cultural and educational activities throughout the year.


C.W. Post is located in one of the most vibrant and exciting areas in the country. The Campus makes its home in the suburban community of Brookville, Long Island, which has been ranked one of the top places to live in North America. C.W. Post is situated close to everything you want to do on Long Island and in New York City: big business, vibrant nightlife, trendy shopping, world-class museums, beautiful beaches and great places to explore and enjoy. Our Campus is located near major airports, including JFK International Airport.


The 307-acre C.W. Post Campus is one of the most beautiful in America. Located just a 50-minute train ride from the vibrant cultural attractions of New York City, the tranquil campus is a nationally registered arboretum, with more than 4,000 trees, nature trails, formal gardens, and expansive green lawns. Among the 59 buildings on Campus are three historic mansions, an elegant library, modern residence halls, two student centers, a performing arts center, and a state-of-the-art recreation facility. Yet there’s plenty of open space, including 70 acres of recreational fields. C.W. Post’s park-like setting is green in more ways than one, from the locally grown produce in our dining halls to environmental seminars and recycling initiatives that help sustain our eco-friendly community.


Our students distinguish themselves by taking an active role in campus life as the leaders and members of C.W. Post’s 80 clubs and organizations. There are many ways to get involved and lots to see and do. The Student Life and Leadership Office sponsors hundreds of events each year, including big-name concerts, movie nights, fashion shows, comedy clubs, and ski trips. As an international student, you may find a club specific to your culture, such as the Chinese Scholars Students Association, Korea Student Association and the International Student Business Association.


Exercise your mind, body and spirit with the Campus community. Students who enroll at C.W. Post enjoy free access to the Pratt Recreation Center, an $18.5 million facility featuring basketball and volleyball courts, a heated swimming pool, 200-meter indoor running track, racquetball courses and an exercise and fitness room equipped with personal trainers. C.W. Post’s south campus has 70 acres of open spaces, practice fields, tennis courts, and horseback riding trails. C.W. Post is also home to 15 NCAA competitive athletic teams, including football, soccer, basketball and lacrosse.


Getting an excellent education also means preparing for a fulfilling career. C.W. Post’s Career Services help you write your resume, practice interviewing skills, and teach you how to plan and conduct an effective job search. International students can work on campus, or may qualify for off-campus internships related to the major after one year of academic study. Our graduates have excellent employability records.
