For Deposited Students

Admitted StudentsTo reserve your space in the next entering freshman class, all admitted students must submit a nonrefundable $200 tuition deposit and completed Admitted Student Response Form by May 1 for Fall enrollment or January 1 for Spring enrollment. Once you have submitted your deposit, you can now take the following steps to complete the enrollment process:

Register for Classes

You can make an appointment to meet with an academic and career counselor, who will help you select your courses and register for the upcoming semester. Please contact Academic and Career Counseling (located in Kumble Hall) at 516-299-2746. Students who have been accepted to the Program for Academic Success can call 516-299-3057 to make an appointment.

You also can register for courses by attending one of our Enrollment Services Day. For dates and times, visit our Tours & Events web site.

Complete the High School Transcript Waiver Form

LIU Post requires all students to provide proof of graduation from high school. The High School Transcript Waiver Form authorizes LIU Post Admissions to request your final high school transcript. Please complete this form and mail it to the LIU Post Admissions Office:

Plan to Attend New Student Orientation

Beginning in June, the Student Life and Leadership Development Office will mail you information about New Student Orientation. Orientation is mandatory for all freshman. You can choose from one of three convenient orientations, which are held in July and August. A make-up orientation is held a few days before school begins in September. This is a great way to learn more about college life, become familiar with campus resources and facilities, and meet other students.
