In addition to the specific requirements provided below for the B.F.A. in Electronic Media, all students must fulfill the Core Curriculum and Competency Requirements of LIU Post.

** Electronic Media majors may take CMA 1 or CMA 4.
All Media Arts students are required to maintain a minimum 2.67 grade point average in the major.
Program Requirements
The following additional courses are required for the B.F.A. in Broadcasting:
BDST 4, BDST 5, BDST 6, BDST 17, BDST 25, BDST 27 or 28,
BDST 34, BDST 46 or CMA 20, BDST 54, BDST 57, BDST 63 or 64, BDST 91, BDST 92
CMA 6, CMA 10, JOU 3, JOU 56
TOTAL 49 credits
It is strongly recommended that all students choosing this specialization take BDST 4, BDST 11, BDST 12 and CMA 5 in the freshman or sophomore year. BDST 6, 25, BDST 34 and 57 are essential before beginning Senior-level work.
