The 36-credit Master of Science Program in Medical Biology at the LIU Post offers advanced courses in the biomedical sciences for certified and NYS-licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientists who perform diagnostic laboratory tests necessary to diagnose, assess, prevent and treat disease states. The program is ideal for Clinical Laboratory Scientists seeking promotion to management positions and for preparation for further study at the doctoral level. This program also provides advanced courses in the biomedical sciences for individuals with B.S. degrees who are seeking acceptance into post-graduate professional schools (e.g. medical or dental school) or students seeking a career in basic science research.
