Poetry Center’s 2013-2014 season opening
On March 20, 2013 Bangladeshi poets Hassanal Abdullah and his wife Naznin Seamon read their work in the Hillwood Museum.

On March 20, 2013 Bangladeshi poets Hassanal Abdullah and his wife Naznin Seamon read their work in the Hillwood Museum. Their poetry enbraced political issues and global concerns, which stirred the audience. Seamon was presented flowers by their publisher, Stanley Barkan of Cross-Cultural Communications. Mr. Barkan, along with Turkish poet, Sultan Catto, read earlier in the month.

Poet, actor, playwright and critic David Mills gave a reading of his poetry in the Hillwood Museum on November 7, 2011.

| Poet, actor, playwright and critic David Mills gave a reading of his poetry in the Hillwood Museum on November 7, 2011. The reading was followed by a workshop for creative writing students. The reading and workshop was very inspiring for all who attended. |
The Poetry Center began the 2011-2012 season on September 21 with a poetry reading by Joe Lunievicz.
