Culminating Experience - The Master of Arts degree in TESOL requires a final project for all students who student teach. This project is a portfolio that is done in their weekly seminar. Students not student teaching do not complete a portfolio and must take a comprehensive exam. The Thesis, which is not required, can substitute for the comprehensive exam. It is a three credit class.
