MPA Graduate Employment

The Department of Health Care and Public Administration at LIU Post conducts a follow up with Master of Public Administration (MPA) program graduates six months after graduation as one method of assessing student outcomes, asking about current employment sector, organization, and titles. Of the students first enrolling in the MPA Program in the 2011–2012 academic year, approximately 48% graduated in less than three years (full-time basis), and 68% graduated within four years of starting the program. Employment trends for the last three full academic years are described in the table below, and a sampling of the public, nonprofit, and health care organizations employing LIU Post MPA graduates are provided with employee titles.
