I joined the full-time faculty of the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in 1994. Prior to that, I was the director of counseling at New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury Campus. I completed the Clinical Externship Program of the Ackerman Institute for the Family in 1991 and served as a member of its Later Life-Cycle Project through 1999. I am on the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Family Therapy and have served on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Mental Health Counseling. I also have been the editor of the Journal for the Professional Counselor and the book review editor of the American Journal of Family Therapy. I am currently interested in researching the integration of yoga practice into psychotherapy.
