Frequently Asked Questions — Emergency Services

Somebody spilled something all over the floor. Can I have someone come and clean it up?

Absolutely! Give us a call at extension 2277 and we’ll send someone right over. If you are calling outside of our regular business hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday) - and the spill is causing hazardous conditions please contact Public Safety at extension 2222.

I’m freezing! Can you turn up the heat?

In order to maintain a healthy environment during the heating season (as determined by Mother Nature!), temperatures are maintained at 68 to 72 degrees during normal operating hours and under normal weather conditions. Because we operate the heating systems from a central plant, it is not possible to adjust temperatures for individual preference. It is also not possible to turn on the heat after the air conditioning system has been turned on for the summer season.
