Tutor Responsibilities

• Follow all school and University policies
  
  
• Act and dress professionally
  
  
• Be a good role model
  
  
• Show respect for staff and students at the schools
  
  
• Develop literacy skills and a positive attitude toward learning with each tutee
  
  
• Meet each tutee for 30 (30-35 minute) sessions as scheduled in the classroom under supervision of the teacher
  
  
• Maintain records for each session as to meeting time, date, materials, observations, improvement
  
  
• Prepare and turn in signed hour time sheets to site coordinator bi-monthly
  
  
• Participate in seminars
  
  
• Prepare assignments as directed
