Qualifications for the America Reads Program



  1. Are you a Work-Study student?
  2. Did you complete your FAFSA form?
  3. Are you available for the America Reads Level I course, EDU71-U?
    - Spring/Fall: Monday/ Wednesday/Friday 8:55 - 11:15 a.m.
    - Earn 3 free elective credits!
  4. Do you have a minimum 3.0 GPA?
  5. Can you make a two-semester commitment to the America Reads Program?
  6. Can you tutor a minimum of two-days/per week for 10-15 hours/per week?
  7. Do you like children?
  8. Do you have your own transportation or will you need help in being placed in a car pool?
