Men’s Lacrosse to Host “Team Connor” Fundraiser

Brookville, N.Y. - The LIU Post men’s lacrosse team will host a fundraiser honoring Connor Bradley and on behalf of The Cancer Center for Kids and Winthrop-University Hospital on Saturday, April 27 as they host Molloy in an East Coast Conference matchup starting at 12 p.m.
Connor, the son of Molloy alumna Beth Kyranakis Bradley, and family friend of LIU Post senior goalkeeper Tim Bradley, was diagnosed with leukemia on February 10 and is currently undergoing treatment at The Cancer Center for Kids at Winthrop-University Hospital. Connor and his parents, Sean and Beth, and younger brother, C.J., will be in attendance at the game and Connor will serve as LIU Post’s honorary captain for the afternoon.
In lieu of admission, the Pioneers and Lions will ask for donations at the gate. There will also be 50/50 raffle, Team Connor bracelets for sale, and other raffles. A private donor will donate $100 for every goal scored, up to a maximum of $3,000. All proceeds will go directly to The Cancer Center for Kids at Winthrop-University Hospital.
