Yankee Raul Ibanez Meets LIU Post Baseball Team at Benefit Concert for Victims of Superstorm Sandy at Tilles Center

New York Yankee Raul Ibañez met members of the LIU Post baseball team backstage during a benefit concert for victims of superstorm Sandy at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on November 29, 2012.

"After hearing about all of the devastation in New York, I feel that I have to be there to help so many of the people that helped make me feel at home during my first season with the Yankees," Ibañez told Newsday.

The benefit, which began at 7:30 p.m., featured Jay Black, Jose Feliciano, and fellow emcees Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay and actor Chazz Palminteri.
