LIU Post Presents Lecture on Peace-Building in Iraq and U.S. through Education

NYU Professor Thomas E. Hill will discuss grassroots international diplomacy through academic alliances in his lecture, "And Now for Something Completely Different: Citizen-Led Peace-Building in Iraq and the U.S.," on Wednesday, February 22, 12:30 p.m., Hillwood Commons Lecture Hall.
Thomas E. Hill is a clinical assistant professor of Global Affairs at NYU'S Master of Science and Global Affairs Program and an associate research scholar at Columbia University's Center for International Conflict Resolution. Professor Hill works in the U.S. and Iraq to build peace by creating international academic partnerships between universities and schools. For the past decade, Professor Hill has knit international academic communities together by developing research initiatives, conducting training workshops, and providing consultations to Iraqi political figures.
This lecture is presented by the Institute of Peace and Social Justice and the Department of Philosophy of LIU Post. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
