Exhibits, Lectures and Performances This Spring at LIU Post’s School of Visual and Performing Arts

Brookville, N.Y. – The School of the Visual and Performing Arts of LIU Post has released its Spring 2012 schedule of events, which features more than 130 seminars, art exhibits, lectures and musical performances at the university's campus in Brookville.
Josh Margolin, New York Post reporter and LIU Post SVPA graduate, will participate in the Food For Thought Lecture series of the Department of Media Arts on February 16 at 12:45 p.m. From February 21 through February 25, the Art Department Student Art Exhibit will be on view in the Student Art League Gallery in Hillwood Commons. The Dresden Philharmonic will perform at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on March 10 at 8 p.m. and "La Traviata" will be presented on May 5 at 8 p.m. The Post Spring Dance Concert will take place at the Little Theatre Main Stage from April 20 to 22.
The School of Visual and Performing Arts is a vital center of creativity at LIU Post (formerly known as the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University) and throughout the local community. The mission of the school is to guide its students in reaching their full artistic and intellectual potential and to prepare them for success in their chosen fields.
