LIU Post Named a Best Regional University by U.S. News & World Report

Brookville, N.Y. – The C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University has been named one of the Best Regional Universities in the 2012 edition of the U.S. News & World Report "Best Colleges" rankings.
C.W. Post is included in the top tier of universities in the North region in the rankings, which were released Tuesday, September 13, 2011.
C.W. Post offers more than 240 bachelor's and master's degree programs in accountancy, business, education and information sciences, liberal arts and sciences, library and information science, health professions and nursing, and the visual and performing arts. The campus also offers three doctorates -- the Ph.D. in information studies, the Ed.D. in interdisciplinary educational studies, and the Psy.D. in clinical psychology. The campus serves more than 7,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
With an average undergraduate class size of 19.3 students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 13 to 1, C.W. Post emphasizes personal attention and a strong commitment to student success.
