A great opportunity for families of children with Down syndrome and the professionals who serve them. While parents and professionals attend informative workshops, children with and without Down syndrome will be engaged in educational activities, will come together for lunch, and have an afternoon of recreational activities organized by LIU Post’s athletes. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect, and it provides children with and without Down syndrome an opportunity to build relationships with other children with Down syndrome and their siblings.
On both days of the conference, for a nominal fee, families can enroll their children 12 months and older in our Building Blocks Play Group which will last the length of the conference ***Must Reserve a spot by calling 516-299-3812 no later than November 30th **** No walk-ins.
