New York Archives Conference

2013 annual meeting

This year’s conference will be a joint meeting with the Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan NY, Inc., (ART) and will be co-sponsored by the Palmer School of Library and Information Science at LIU Post.

The conference program will include a day of workshops, a plenary address, conference sessions on numerous topics selected by both organizations, a Thursday evening reception, Friday luncheon with speaker, and Friday afternoon tours. Diverse subjects such as web archiving, archivists and activism, performing arts archives, institutional anniversaries, and outreach will be addressed. A special series of workshops and sessions has been designed for students and new professionals.
