Trip: East Side-West Side Shuffle

The day begins with a stop at the New-York Historical Society with a guided tour of two exhibits. The first is The Return of The Hudson River School: Nature and the American Vision which features forty-five iconic works. The second is WWII & NYC which explores the impact of the war on the city, which played a critical role in the national war effort, and how the city was forever changed.

After lunch there will a stop at the New-York Society Library with a guided tour of Edith Wharton's New York City: A Backward Glance which celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edith Wharton born in the city.
