The Palmer School of Library and Information Science offers career opportunities in today's fastest growing fields. Learn about the many avenues for success through our certificate, graduate and doctoral programs, including: Master of Science in Library and Information Science – accredited by the American Library Association – with specializations in School Library Media, Public LibrarianshipRare Books and Special Collections or Academic and Special Librarianship. The same program is available at New York University's Bobst Library on Washington Square in Manhattan. In addition, C.W. Post partners with NYU to provide a unique  Dual Degree program for scholar-librarians, leading to both a Master of Arts and an Master of Science in Library and Information Science. Students can also take master's level courses at Long Island University's campuses in Westchester County and in Brentwood, Long Island. Students who already hold a master's degree can pursue certificates of advanced studies in  Archives and Records Management and Public Library Administration.
