The Associate Provost is a member of the senior administration of LIU Post. Reporting directly to the Provost, the Associate Provost's principal responsibilities include oversight of internal and external communications for three campuses of Long Island University campuses: LIU Post (Brookville, N.Y.), LIU Brentwood and LIU Riverhead.

The Associate Provost works in collaboration with all administrative offices, including Admissions, Auxiliary Services, Athletics, Facilities Services, Public Safety, Student Affairs, Student Success and Registrar, as well as academic departments, dean's offices and professional staff.

The Associate Provost is a member of the Coordinating Council, the leadership team for LIU Post, comprised of assistant provosts, associate provosts, the registrar, academics deans, the vice president and the associate vice president for academic affairs of LIU, and the associate provosts of LIU regional campuses in Brentwood and Riverhead. The Associate Provost works cooperatively with faculty, administration, staff and students to accomplish the mission and goals of the University.

The Associate Provost also serves as the director of public relations and marketing, and oversees the Office of Public Relations, the Office of Community Relations and the Office of Internal Communications and Social Media.
