Wellness, Recreation & Athletic Center

Welcome to the LIU Brooklyn Wellness, Recreation and Athletic Center (WRAC). This $45 million, 114,000-square-foot facility supports the campus' 18 Division I athletic teams, provides a state-of-the-art workout environment for the campus community and offers a broad array of health and wellness services, and health-related counseling programs to our students, faculty members and administrators, as well as to members of the community at large.

The WRAC features a 2,500-seat arena, top-notch cardio and fitness equipment, free weights, a yoga studio, an NCAA-regulation swimming pool, and a rooftop running track and tennis courts. It also houses one of New York City's only hydrotherapy pools, designed for the treatment of sports injuries, cardiac conditions, chronic pain and arthritis. In addition, the WRAC provides training opportunities for the campus' more than 3,000 students in health-related majors.
