Phi Delta Chi
Phi Delta Chi pharmacy fraternity develops leaders to advance the profession of pharmacy. Phi Delta Chi, a lifelong experience, promotes scholastic, professional, and social growth in its brothers. The members strive to provide quality services to their patients, thereby advancing public health and strengthening themselves as health professionals.
The Rho Chi Society is an honor society that was established to encourage and recognize pharmacy students who display the highest standards of academic excellence. In addition, Rho Chi seeks to enhance the various disciplines of the pharmacy profession by stimulating its members to excellence and to the preservation and maintenance of the highest professional ideals.
Sigma Tau Delta
Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society, confers distinction for high achievement in English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies. The Omicron Zeta chapter on Long Island University’s Brooklyn campus has been active for over fifty years. Sigma Tau Delta seeks to provide cultural stimulation on college campuses and promote interest in literature and the English language by organizing trips to local theatrical performances and encouraging creative work. Membership is by invitation and students must maintain the various academic standards in order to be considered for membership.
