School of Nursing
LIU Brooklyn's School of Nursing is focused on educating nurses and enabling them to provide the highest quality of nursing care to a diverse and complex population in challenging and ever-changing social, political and economic environments across the country and around the globe. Providing a dynamic, diverse, urban-based nursing education center, the School offers an undergraduate baccalaureate program for students with no nursing background as well as an R.N.-B.S. program for nurses who do not hold a B.S. degree.
Flexible undergraduate tracks are offered for students in the generic program. The Part-time/Evening track is specially designed for those students who work during the day.
The 15-month Accelerated track is offered to those students who hold a baccalaureate degree in another discipline.
All programs are registered by the State of New York and accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education.
