Continued enrollment in this program is contingent upon:
Fieldwork
Fieldwork is required in almost all TAL courses. Students need to have at least one day a week available to be in a school placement during school hours.
Student Teaching
Students seeking the Advanced Certificate who are currently teaching in an Early Childhood setting, with faculty approval, may fulfill the student teaching requirement in their own classroom. Others complete a 20-day student teaching experience with a cooperating teacher.
