Admissions Requirements
Admissions Requirements
To be admitted into this program you must:
- Have bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Have a 2.75 minimum undergraduate grade point average
- Show proof of Initial NYS teaching certification in Childhood Education (1-6) or Teaching Children with Disabilities (1-6)
- Submit two letters of recommendation
- Submit a statement of professional goals
- Submit and application to Long Island University Brooklyn Campus Office of Admissions (see below)
