Rosa’s experiences also include working in patient rehab settings with the acute cardiopulmonary, orthopedic and stroke/brain injury teams at NYU Medical Center Rusk Institute. While taking continuing education coursework in manual techniques in physical therapy, Rosa also keeps current on educational trends by assisting in teaching labs and by taking on students for clinical instruction. She is interested in taking further coursework in manual therapy and in becoming certified, allowing her to combine various manual therapy techniques to help optimize results in her patient’s rehabilitation. From student to professional therapist, Rosa chose LIU Brooklyn for its strong commitment in the areas of quality of care and education. She is thrilled to be serving the campus and local communities.
