Course Description

This class is designed for students who would like to further their knowledge in computer troubleshooting and for individuals interested in changing professions from a non-computer related field. Students will utilize Microsoft Windows™ for software learning and floor computers for hardware assembly and testing. Students will also learn how to terminate CAT5e cable, connectors and use cable testing equipment.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)™ and CompTIA™ Security+

Course Description

This course is intended for students who have already passed the CompTIA™ A+ and Network+ exams and who are also preparing for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)™ and CompTIA™ Security + exams. Students will learn how to identify lockdown and secure vulnerabilities in a small to medium enterprise branch network with a focus on network installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer & Trade Certification Prep (MCSE Core)

Course Description

This course is designed for individuals interested in becoming MCSE™ Certified. Upon completion, students will have the ability to analyze business requirements for information systems solutions and validate their expertise in designing and implementing infrastructures based on Windows Server based networks. Implementation responsibilities include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network systems.

Benefits

By the end of this course, students should be able to pass the four core MCSE exams necessary for MCSE Certification. After completing this course, s tudents can independently pursue study in the remaining electives needed for full completion of the MCSE Certification.

Prerequisite

An MCSE candidate should have one to two years of experience in designing, installing, configuring and troubleshooting network systems.

Course Description

Learn to develop, modify, optimize and maintain websites and related graphics for a corporation or small business. By the end of this course, students will know how to build, troubleshoot and maintain websites designed with HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver, as well as manipulate graphics and pictures using Adobe Photoshop for the purpose of web design.

Introduction to Advanced Web Development (ASP.NET)

Course Description

Learn how to plan, design, program and maintain advanced website technologies and understand how web servers and web-based database systems function, using the latest technologies, including IIS Server, ASP.NET, Linux.
