Profiles In Success
Year of Graduation
As a student, Christopher Thompson, who was the valedictorian of the Class of 2006, took full advantage of the LIU Brooklyn's career support programs. He interned at JPMorgan Chase & Co and worked part time at the financial services giant while pursuing a degree in accounting and finance.
Christopher’s internship led to a full-time job; Christopher decided to pursue his MBA degree at Duke University after working several years with JPMorgan Chase & Co as a credit-risk management analyst. He attributes his success to his LIU Brooklyn education. “Professionally, LIU Brooklyn provided me with a foundational skill set that prepared me for my career in a challenging environment. Personally, it allowed me to immerse myself in a diverse academic setting. All of this has contributed to my professional development.”
