Faces of LIU

 

Forty years ago, an acclaimed comedy writer gave me my first professional job. I asked, “How can I repay you?” He answered, “Pass it on.” This inspired me to create The TV Writers StudioSM at LIU Brooklyn. By launching the careers of a new generation of writers, I am “passing it on.”

After finishing my tour of duty as an Army journalist in Afghanistan, I enrolled in LIU Brooklyn’s TV Writers StudioSM. I’m getting real world television writing experience I could never find anywhere else. I am now a member of the Writers Guild of America, East.
