Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program
Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program
Latin American and Caribbean Studies (LACS) is an interdisciplinary field that provides students with broad understanding of an important and diverse region of the world and equips them with skills needed to excel in the 21st century.
Providing a comprehensive overview of the politics, history, cultures and perspectives of the Latin American-Caribbean region, this program offers a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and hosts conferences, seminars, cultural activities and lectures. A cross-cultural understanding of the Latin American-Caribbean region opens a window onto histories and perspectives that broaden horizons and increase marketable skills.
