Undergraduate students who are enrolled for, and who successfully complete 16 credits or more in a semester, and who achieve a cumulative grade-point average of 3.70 or higher for that semester (with no W, WF, UW, INC, or ABS grades), qualify for the Dean’s Award. Monetary awards are available for the term directly following the earning of the average. For students enrolled for 16 or 17 credits, the award is $1,000. For enrollment of 18 credits or more, the award is $1,200. Awards may not be transferred to any subsequent semesters. Students must request this award from the dean of the college of their major. This award is available to international students as well.
Students who received the Dean’s Award for four consecutive semesters (six for Pharmacy students) are eligible for the Dean’s Scholarship, which provides up to $10,000 towards tuition after TAP and Federal Pell Grant funding. This scholarship is applicable only to the undergraduate phase of any program, for a maximum of eight terms.
